Joint Industry Sundowner

3 February 2021

Our joint industry sundowner held in partnership with the Petroleum Club of Western Australia (PCWA) at the newly renovated ANZAC House on the 28th of January was a great success. Allowing attendees the opportunity to connect with industry peers, as well as hear the latest updates on Australia’s energy sector, the night allowed for a perfect mix of social interaction and business information.

PCWA President Colby Hauser opened the event before attendees were given an update on the industry calendar from Marius Martens, Chairman of Subsea Energy Australia. Hearing from David Pedulla of Rystad Energy and Mary Hackett of Future Energy Exports CRC, provided valuable insights to industry growth and emerging trends as we head further into 2021. Followed by a lively Q&A session the presentations concluded with an overall sense of positivity for our ever-expanding industry. As the evening progressed, we were treated to delightful canapes and a generous bar, with staff at ANZAC House ensuring the highest quality service.

With the sun beginning to set, we were spoilt with a fantastic sunset on the 5th floor balcony as the networking portion of the evening was well and truly underway. With both PCWA and Subsea Energy Australia member bases growing steadily in recent months the night was overwhelmingly a night of celebration.

As we move into February both PCWA and Subsea Energy Australia will be hosting more industry focused events in order to ensure our industry continues to thrive. PWCA events can be found here and include a variety of webinars and evening functions, whilst Subsea Energy Australia will be hosting our February Industry Sundowner on the evening of February 18th.
